AV Communications won three awards at the prestigious 2015 Summit Creative Award (SCA) competition for their campaigns for BMW Canada and McCormick Canada. Winners were announced on May 27 by Summit International Awards (SIA), the premier award-giving body that has been recognizing marketing and advertising agencies worldwide for the past 21 years.
The agency’s winning entries were judged by an international panel of judges, and bested more than 5,000 submissions from 23 countries worldwide.
The BMW Chinese New Year campaign won Silver and Bronze for the Consumer Newspaper and Consumer Campaign Regional/National categories, respectively; while the McCormick Online Cook Off won Bronze for the Experiential Marketing category.
AV Communications has bagged three other SCAs for BMW in the past, namely in 2012 for Year of the Dragon CNY Greeting in the Best of Show/ Print / Special category, and twice in 2014 for the Red Envelope Please in the Holiday / Announcement / Greeting category and BMW Horse Power in the Consumer Newspaper category.
